    "Everything is in a state of change."

    One of her primary interests lies in structural integration and osteopathic bodywork. She was a national team member athlete and has experienced both receiving and giving massage for athletic performance, injury prevention, and recovery. She creates individualized sessions in deep-tissue, myofascial release, trigger-point, Swedish, shiatsu, and energy methods. She also specializes in prenatal massage and lymphatic drainage.

    She is a practicing martial artist in the Taoist tradition of Wudang Pai, and draws from this in helping clients develop postural awareness and self-correction. Her goals are to help you find release and recovery. She graduated from the Swedish Institute and is a Licensed Massage Therapist in the State of New York. She speaks English and German.

    Mark came into bodywork through his years as a Martial Arts practitioner, competing in a multitude of disciplines. Finding himself in constant injuries, massage therapy inevitably became part of his recovery. Graduating from the Swedish Institute in 2000, his practice assimilates active release techniques, sports therapy stretches and deep tissue techniques. Adapting to the needs of his clients the goal is seeing them enjoy the simple movements of life. Mark has also developed a practice in prenatal care that includes take at home tips and techniques to teach partners how to help through the pregnancy.

    Kat is a NY state licensed massage therapist and an alumni of the Finger Lakes School of Massage. In her practice she holds a safe space for clients. She meets everybody and body where they are. She offers Swedish strokes with Kinesthetic Awareness through Movement, Connective Tissue Therapy, Reflexology, and heavily integrates other modalities tailored specifically to each body. She is humble, hospitable, and she believes in healing touch. She believes in serving the cause of soul ease through self care and bodywork.

    Jon is a board certified massage therapist who graduated from New York College of Health Professions and is continuing his education towards a Bachelor in Acupuncture. He specializes in acupressure, thai massage, cupping, aromatherapy, and deep tissue. Experienced in an acupuncture clinic setting, Jon is well versed in both relaxation and medical massage. When deemed appropriate, therapeutic joint movements and muscle stretches may be integrated with each tailored massage treatment. Jon believes this only furthers the quality of the treatment and overall quality of life with each of his clients. Outside of work Jon enjoys fitness, nutrition, and collecting crystals.

    Hui Ling “Sharon” Lam is an NYC based Licensed Massage Therapist from Malaysia. Having been introduced to massage at a young age, Sharon has always been a fan of massages and incorporates massage therapy into her own physical and emotional health regiment. Sharon is a graduate of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM) and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA). Her massage training is enriched by her participation in community outreach programs such as the Tunnel to Towers program (a 5K run and walk dedicated to the memory of Stephen Siller, a firefighter who lost his life on September 11, 2001) 2016 and 2017, and the Womenkind (previously New York Asian Women Center) outreach program at PCOM in August 2017. Sharon began training as an aerialist with a focus on aerial silks and aerial hoop (lyra) in 2015. She is also a Yoga and Aerial Yoga instructor, receiving her certifications from Warrior Bridge and Om Factory respectively. Sharon is also certified in Prenatal Massage under the instruction of Kiera Nagle, creator of MaMassage® and Assistant Dean of PCOM. She continuously strives to provide therapeutic experiences with a client-centered approach and enjoys working with athletes, high mobility clientele, and Weekend Warriors.

    Hope is a graduate of the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (2019) where she developed an expertise in injury rehabilitation through an internship with Joffrey Ballet School and trained as a MaMassage® prenatal-certified practitioner. A native of the Upper West Side, Hope holds a B.A. from Oberlin College where she majored in Environmental Studies and minored in Dance. She developed an interest in the therapeutic nature of touch during her dance studies, where she was exposed to somatic therapy, craniosacral exercises and Feldenkrais.

    Hope believes that therapeutic touch plays a critical role in personal wellness, and in developing a massage session carefully tailored to each individual’s history, goals, and personal complaints. Through an integration of Eastern and Western modalities, Hope’s aim is to help her clients improve body awareness, manage areas of weakness and deficiency, alleviate tension and, ultimately, play an active role in their own journey to wellness.

    Patrick became a massage therapist to help people manage and prevent pain and injuries. In his years of experience he has helped people overcome specific outpatient orthopedic injuries, postural dysfunctions, pre and post operation conditions and sports injuries. He will listen to you to tailor a massage to your specific needs and make you feel better. Patrick is a lifelong athlete and in a past life competed in two NCAA cross country championships. His battles with his own injuries inspired him to study massage therapy at the Swedish Institute so he could help others.

    Sarah has been a licensed massage therapist since 2015. She combines intuition and technical skill to provide a touch that allows her clients to fully relax and heal. She works slowly and engages with the body to assess what it needs, working to alleviate any tension or pain. Her style combines a mixture of Swedish and deep tissue techniques to provide a relaxing and effective massage. Sarah has hands of intuition that will give you nurturing comfort while providing therapeutic techniques to give you the proper care your body needs.

    Taryn is an honor graduate of Swedish Institute: A College of Health Sciences in New York City. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management prior to her completion of Swedish’s Massage Therapy Program. Taryn seeks to offer relief to individuals battling with chronic pain and illnesses throughout the body. She’s extremely familiar with the affects of stress on the body from a personal stand point and believes in the holistic benefits of massage, in all of its modalities, for treatment and as alternative pain management. Stemming from southern roots, she wishes to introduce massage and its benefits to underserved communities that need it most.
